12by12daily Updates

Surfing 12by12daily has been very painful lately. It keeps kicking me out after every one site surfed, it is worse than manual surfer. If it does not make any improvement soon, I would not make anymore upgrades. Even Dave, the admin of 12by12daily admitted it is having problems, see news:
Hi everybody,

We have done a lot of work over the weekend making improvements to the site which will help to spread the load and make it easier for us all. What we have done is install multiple servers, so that when you login you will be taken to the server which has the least load at that time. You may see something strange in your address bar, such as http://server2.12by12daily.com/. This is nothing to be concerned about. Some members are still having trouble logging in, surfing, and upgrading. If you are having trouble in any of these areas, logging in again from the server you have been taken to will usually solve the problem. In extreme cases you may have to do it 3 times. http://12by12daily.net and http://12by12daily.com are both valid urls, so if you have a problem with one, you can always try the other. If you are trying to upgrade and get booted back to the login page instead of being taken to the e-gold website, follow the same procedure. If you are using Roboform to save your passwords you will probably need to save it several times. We are continuing to work on the intricacies of this system, so that the switch from one server to another will be done a lot smoother, but if you follow the instructions above, you should be able to login, surf, and upgrade. It is also important to logout after you have finished.

We still have a few members whose upgrades were not entered automatically, and the manual addition of these should be complete some time tomorrow. Don't forget, if you are in this situation, you will not lose any earnings, as your 12 days starts from the time/date your upgrade is entered. We also still have a number of members whose upgrades have entered multiple times. It may take a little longer to adjust these,
probably another 48 hours. The other problem with multiple upgrade entries, is that the referral commission also gets added multiple times, so if you see a decrease in your referral commission this will probably be the reason.

Members who have not been credited for missing surf days will have the missed earnings added at the time of their payout. All upgrades that were active at the time of these troubles will be credited for the full 12 days surfing.

A few members have also asked us about their expiry dates. Assuming that you upgrade before you surf, the days count starts on the day of your upgrade. It then expires after you have surfed on the 12th day. So, if you upgraded on the 12th, you would think 12 plus 12 equals 24, so your upgrade expires on the 24th. Not so. It expires on the 23rd after you have surfed. If you don't believe me count the days on your
fingers...lol.

A couple of members have had their accounts hacked, and their account details changed. Whilst this is a relatively minor problem, we are committed to the security of all members accounts and have made the following changes to the script. No member will be able to change their email address, or e-gold account number. Any changes to email addresses or e-gold account numbers can only be done by admin. You will need a very good reason to do this, and you will also need to prove that the account you are requesting changes to is yours. You will still be permitted to change your password.

We need to do a hardware install which will mean taking the site offline for about an hour. This will happen at 6pm Server time on Monday 24th for approximately one hour.

I hope I have covered everything.
Happy surfing
David
