Can HYIP Scammers be Caught? This is a very popular question asked by many HYIP investors. The simplest answer is almost 99% of them went away without being caught. As long as greed, and there are people wants the quick fat returns, there will be scammers and HYIPs. Minvestment is a prime example of it. The only well-known HYIP is caught by the regulator is 12dailypro. Even the the famous Prime Fund is gone without trace. The best we can do is to do the following:
1. report the problem to e-gold to block its funding;
2. report it to the internet authority;
3. log its IP for future references (I have many IPs being logged on my blog, if you search the IP I have accumulated on my blog)

I have been a HYIP investors for over 3 years now. Fortunately, I was able to make profit from it throughout the years. The keys in winning HYIP are:
1. Diversify (sooner or later all of them will go away), over 95% of them are scammers.
2. Stick with the one that are paying currently
3. Check their IPs before investing
4. Stay away from the highest paying rate ones (200% per day)
5. If it is over 2 years old, it is about time to fold
6. 3 - 6 months payment HYIPs are the best to get into
7. Get your principles out ASAP (no compounding until your initial principle is back)

The best bet is investing in stocks, HYIPs should be your gambling money to use.
